Neighborhood Planning Effort Resumes — September 2010
For the past three years of the economic down time, we have been concentrating planning efforts on facilities such as sewer, water, storm drain, and traffic circulation, the so-called "infrastructure" of Glen Loma Ranch. With that work substantially complete, we have now directed our planners to concentrate efforts on the design and engineering of the four individual neighborhoods surrounding Las Animas Elementary School along Luchessa Avenue. These neighborhoods will comprise Phase One of Glen Loma Ranch, and we have been in consultation with several major builders in an effort to set the proper housing mix for these projects.
This final part of the planning effort is expected to be completed sometime in mid 2012, but there is no current estimate as to the commencement of construction.
